R.I.P. (Another) Nick Alexander

I’m sure it is a shock for many people to read about the passing of the Merchandise Manager for Eagles of Death Metal and begin tributes for his passing… to wind up here.

Theirs was the concert that was interrupted by ISIS terrorists in Paris this past Friday, taking hostages and killing over 80 people. It is as enormous and shocking a story that ever will be.

My heart and prayers go out to all of the victims, including this victim who shares my name.

Nick Alexander (1979-2015)

I am in awe over this person’s write-up in Rolling Stone magazine. He was certainly one of the tireless fans of music that assisted some of today’s best acts.

Nonetheless, I am not he. To my count, there are about seven or so prominent Nick Alexanders out there, including an author, an Olympian, a stand-up comic, and a specialized car salesman in Beverly Hills.

I reiterate: my heart and prayers go out to all the families and victims of this past weekend’s attack.  May they find their heavenly reward.
